20-day case study: pain, sleep, and skin

At RegenClinic, we often talk about treatment in terms of protocols, research, and outcomes. But sometimes, the most meaningful stories are the simplest ones.

Recently, someone very close to our clinic came to us for help. Sasha’s mom was visiting from Atlanta. For over a year, she had been living with back pain caused by bulged discs. Two cortisone injections hadn’t helped. The pain had become part of her daily life.

When she arrived, we approached her care the same way we would for any client. Structured. Consistent. Thoughtful.

AFTER

One of the most striking shifts was her sleep. Before treatment, Sasha’s mom had chronic insomnia. She was often getting only 3 to 4 hours of sleep a night, and sometimes relied on sleeping pills. After her first 4 Pod sessions, she began sleeping 6 to 7 hours a night.

That kind of change matters because sleep affects far more than energy. A 2023 review in Neural Regeneration Research describes sleep as essential to overall health and notes that poor-quality sleep affects thinking, learning, memory, movement, and long-term well-being. The same review explores red light therapy as a non-pharmacological approach being studied for sleep support, particularly through its effects on nighttime brain function and waste clearance during sleep (Valverde et al., 2023).

And something unexpected happened, the best kind of side-effect. There was a visible change in her skin. Above are two photos taken 20 days apart. We wanted to share them because they reflect something we see often at RegenClinic: when the body begins to regulate more effectively, improvements show up in more than one place.

This is not just a story about Sasha’s mom. It’s a reminder that when someone close to us needs help, we trust the same tools and care that we offer to everyone who walks through our doors.
